About
For those of you who don’t know me, I was born in Sydney AUSTRALIA on the 2nd March 1979. I grew up on the south east coast in Narooma, and for the most part in Wollongong where I have spent a majority of my life thus far.
My skills lay in the IT / Network Security field, but I have a very broad range of skills in IT ranging from desktop support to disaster recovery to backoffice systems to VPN and network security. For most of my working career, starting at the end of 1998, I have worked for Marconi who were then acquired by Ericsson. I am now in the process of beginning employment for BT America’s Inc (British Telecom) in Pittsburgh USA.
I have one sister (Sara) who is 18 months my senior. My father is a CEO of a local government organisation in Queensland, and my mother is an intensive english teacher at an institution in Wollongong. For those that don’t know, Wollongong is approximately 90km’s south of Sydney. For those wondering, the meaning of “Wollongong” is “the sound of the sea”.
