well it’s been a long time since a real update … so … i’m just going to blog this all down and get it out!
so, for those that don’t know, i’ve been spending a large portion of my time since late november travelling … mainly between Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, Cambridge, and the odd detour via Pittsburgh to catchup with friends … why you ask? well, the project i was working on in Houston came to and end and i’ve transferred to another project based in the north-east of the US. sooooo in order to be more ‘centrally’ located i have decided to move to NYC! planned move date is the last weekend of March (28/29/30) so, i’ve already started looking for apartments mainly around the SoHo and East Village area … why else move to NYC if you’re not going to be in the thick of it? (budget permitting!)
other than that, i’m considering spending 5 nights in Hawaii before i fly out to Australia in December, to have a holiday away from my holiday … as my schedule in Australia is always so jam-packed! plus, never been to Hawaii before so might as well check it out 
one last note, work schedule permitting, i am heading to the Daytona 500 in 2 weeks for the 50th running of the NASCAR race held there every year … hopefully work will ease up that weekend and i can make it, given i’ve had tickets for almost a year!

so much for my new years resolution!
i can use the excuse that i’ve been travelling so much, and working so much (70hrs/week or more) that updating my website really has taken a low priority … i don’t have a life at the moment let alone time to update this thing!
so … you’ll just have to wait a little while longer for an update!
i’m dead tired so will be brief. just arrived in Philadelphia, it’s actually suprising warm at 40F / 4C for this time of year. had a shocker of a trip up here and ordeal with the rental car, which in the end i gave up on and caught a cab - but not after wasting 2 hours at 1am!
so anyway, some of you may be wondering why i am in Philly … guess i’ll explain that when i get the chance … which is not now!

first post of 2008 and it’s still the 1st of Jan! doing well … just a quick pic from last night, ended up getting table service at Epic lounge here in Houston, very last minute but worked out OK in the end! everyone had a ball, the alcohol was flowing, the tunes were cranking, the dancefloor got a workout Aussie-style … haha! i’m waiting on pics from the night at which point i’ll add them to the gallery, but for now:
