2:42am 4th October … have not slept, actually was at the gym until 2am, what sane person would be working out in the gym at such an ungodly hour? ah well, i’m all packed, the taxi arrives to pick me up in just over 2hrs, so i guess there is little point in trying to sleep as i’d most likely sleep through my alarm(s), miss the taxi, miss my flight to LA, and miss my connecting flight to Sydney! aaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!
anyway, has been a very busy few days getting everything sorted and making sure all of my bases are covered when i am away … specifically, making sure there are no perishables in the fridge! hahaha … i will be touching down in Sydney, granted everything runs to schedule, at approximately 9pm Friday. it would be an understatement to say i am ‘excited’! i’m into my 14th month away from home, time has flown and much has happenned, but i have to say quite clearly that i do miss home!
so that’s all for now. given that my phone / email blogging works i’ll try and send some in-transit updates directly from my phone so hopefully it will work! if not … all will be quiet until i land in Oz
